Grove of Gaia Fest



The 6th Annual Grove of Gaia Fest takes place on May 4, 2013. This Beltane Fest is almost here! Offering 35 vendors, including psychics and readers, healers, food vendors, and Pagan crafters, and five workshops, the fest is a major destination for the Pagan community and gathers 250-350 participants each year. Admission is only $5 and includes access to rituals, vendors who set their own reasonable fees, and the workshops.
It will be held once again at the beautiful UU Church of the North Hills and grounds, located in the Franklin Park area of suburban Pittsburgh at 2359 W. Ingomar Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237. There is ample parking for all. Pagan children and teens are indeed welcome.

Each year Grove of Gaia Fest opens with Grove of Gaia’s traditional Beltane ritual at 11 AM with Maypole dancing on 2 maypoles, featuring Whiskey Rebellion Morris Dancers traditional at Beltane, and a closing ritual by Pittsburgh coven, Sophia’s Cauldron. A drum circle begins at 2 PM. Join us for this festive time!

Vending opens at 12 PM and ends at 5:30 PM with vendors setting their own reasonable rates. 2013 vendors include: The Vegan Goddess' delicious vegan treats and soups; Demeter's Delights; Magda's Magickal Herbs; Cloaks of Camelot; Diana Paar's Tarot Readings; Diane Jarecki Intuitive Readings; Don't Say Gypsy; Wisps and Chains; Raven Paw Creations; Maiden and Crone; Silverwing Designs; New Moon Studios; Doe's Creative Convections; Reiki Practitioner Paul Dalton; Black Cats and Co. Jewelry; Psychic and Medium Jennifer Rowan;Astrologer Judi Vitale; Pagan Presence books, CD's and more; Divine Scentsations' great incense, oils, and candles; One Sly Fox; Pangea St; Wolf Whisper Creations; Emerald Song Creations; Twin Star Gifts; Crystal-Dragon Hawk Creations; Creations by Rowan Dandelion; Phoenix Wynd Designs; Wax Artistic unique batiks; Belle Belua soaps and delights for the body; Frank Halling will be cooking a full range of delicious foods; a kid's and teen's activity table; Hills and Rivers Local Council of Covenant of the Goddess will have a table; Hearth of Yggdrasil will have a table; and more.

Workshops this year are: Energy Magick at 1 PM; Teen Witch at 2PM; Magickal Herbs at 3 PM; The Power of Sigils at 4 PM; and Breath, Blaze, Blood, Bone: Invoking the Body Elemental at 4:30 PM.
